The web version of the Rancho Santa Fe Review's newspaper article about Sarka-Jonae is out. The article is entitled "Persistent Rancho Santa Fe author’s long journey leads to a book deal." There are a couple mistakes, i.e. SJ never was on the verge of giving up her dream and it was Jesse James Freeman who told her the good news about getting the offer, but all and all it's a very positive piece and we're all very grateful. Please check out the article, leave a comment, share with friends... Every bit of support is appreciated.
The Rancho Santa Fe Review newspaper -- that partners with the Del Mar Times, Carmel Valley News, and Solana Beach Sun -- is printing an article about Sarka-Jonae on Thursday, August 29. The piece is a follow-up to an article written in March about how Between Boyfriends reached #3 on two Amazon best seller lists. This piece will discuss how Sarka-Jonae has since gotten a publishing deal and how exactly that happened. We're looking forward to the piece and anticipating a positive response for the supportive residents of San Diego.
A fantastic Indie publisher, BOOKTROPE PUBLISHING, has picked up Between Boyfriends chick-lit novel. The innovative publisher is anticipating the release of a paperback in September or October!
Sarka-Jonae is incredibly grateful. We can't wait to see the new cover.
In the meantime, Between Boyfriend will still be sold as an ebook for Kindle and Nook. Booktrope will not be making significant editorial changes, so there's no reason to wait to purchase the novel for only $2.99.
What are critics saying? San Diego's East County Magazine wrote a rave review, calling Between Boyfriends the "ultimate chick-lit read." Hollywood & Vine magazine wrote a piece about Between Boyfriends, stating that it "presents a unique twist on the chick lit genre."
